Coffee is culture. At least it’s a cultural good. It creates a world that would not exist otherwise.
When you choose to drink it, you choose to not drink something else — tea, water, milk, soda, beer (hopefully not in the morning). Likewise when you spend money on it, you choose not to spend money on something else.
