Hi, I'm Petey Crowder. I'm addicted to running.

I love to provoke people to see life differently, to seek the welfare of others and unveil the plaguing narcissism around us. I do all of this poorly.

This is a space for me to leave pictures I find inspiring, thoughts I find provoking, links I find creative, and my personal prose theology that hopefully springs from community & continual prayer, reflection and learning.

Divorced from Hope

Is it possible to live a life you don’t have a vision for?

Can one have hope but not faith?

Will you pursue justice but not forgiveness?

Isn’t vision just an adamant hope in something not yet realized?

There will come a day; maybe there will come many days, when what you are will be made known.

The vision you have for life is producing effects daily; it is producing effects right now.

Is there a disconnect between the way you want the world to be and the way the world is? Is there a disconnect between what you want for your life and what your life is?

There’s only one way to bridge that gap.

Hope.

Living Hope.

Have you embraced a vision for the life you’re pursuing?

Are you placing all your bets on the hope that it’s possible?

Life without hope, or vision, or faith is a life that’s stuck.

Give someone a picture of an inspired life. There’s enough examples out there of uninspired living.
