“Our culture is competent to implement almost anything and to imagine almost nothing.” -Walter Brueggemann, The Prophetic Imagination

You have to define life in one of two ways: either life is about problems to be solved or about mysteries to be explored.
One will require implementation and pragmatism, the other imagination, wonder, and danger.
One will most likely lead to security, the other will most likely lead to struggle.
One will probably endure in boredom and end in regret, the other may just endure in gratitude and end in fullness.
Which?

About

Avatar I'm a runner, writer, thinker, and pastor. I love to agitate people's consciences. I like to spend my time reading, running, and relaxing with family & friends.

I work as a director of community formation at Highland Park Presbyterian Church and this blog in no way reflects the thoughts or attitudes of my church. You can catch me teaching regularly at Wake Up! and Pub Night Dallas.

I use Common Prayer for Ordinary Radicals to read Scripture and pray daily, join me!
